MILLERSVILLE, Md. – Aug. 16, 2023 – CallTrackingMetrics, a global conversation analytics company, today announced the completion of a Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type 2 audit. This comprehensive assessment underscores CallTrackingMetrics’ commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security and underscores its ongoing dedication to data protection.

Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 Type 2 is considered the gold standard for data security. The certification requires an extensive audit of an organization’s internal controls over an extended period and is designed to ensure that a company not only manages data securely, but also safeguards the organization’s integrity and the privacy of its customers. 

As the digital ecosystem continues to evolve, so does the risk of cybercrime. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, the cost of cybercrime is predicted to hit $8 trillion in 2023 and will grow to $10.5 trillion by 2025, making it more important than ever for companies to properly vet their vendors for security compliance and data privacy.
